Windsurf shops are normally run by enthusiasts of the sport. Sure, there are some corporate investors that might provide backing, but you’re hardly likely to run into one of them when you walk in the shop. Instead you’ll find someone who’s passionate about the sport. Someone who eats, drinks, sleeps, and breathes windsurfing is much more likely to find a job around the sport than someone who just doesn’t care about it.

And that’s where the tips come in. These people spend more time thinking about windsurfing than just about anything else. They are a great resource just waiting to be tapped.  So the next time you step into a windsurf shop, chat it up with the person behind the counter and find out what they know. You’ll more than likely be surprised at how much knowledge is there to be had.
